In this tutorial, you will learn how to make an image look cut out...BY HAND!
Step 1:Choose an image. I am going to use this one:
Step 2:On your side Tool Bar, choose your Selection Tool. Then, choose 'Freehand'.
Step 3:At the top of you screen, there is another tool bar. Click on the drop down arrow and then choose 'Point To Point'. Match your settings to mine:
Step 4:Make your own jagged line around the part of the image you want to KEEP! There should be a dotted line around the selected image now. DO NOT DE-SELECT!
NOTE:MAKE SURE you draw a line around the rest of the image that you want to keep to make a full selection!
Step 5:Go to Edit»Copy. Then, go to Edit»Paste As New Image.
Step 6:Go to File»Save Copy As. Make sure you save it as a .PNG!
YOU'RE DONE! You can also add a shadow around the image by going to Effects»3D Effects»Drop Shadow. You can learn more on shadows i my other tutorial. =)
