Making Your Image Gradient

In this tutorial, you will learn how to make your images gradient! =)

Step 1:Choose an image. I am going to use this one:

Step 2:Choose 2 colors from the image that you want your image t be faded in to. I am going to use these colors:
#d6eaf6
#f0c1f6

Step 3:In your Materials Panel, there is a small circle. Click on it and notice the drop down list. Choose 'Gradient' from the list.

Step 4:At the top of your screen, click on Layers»New Raster Layer. Keep the default settings and hit OK.

Step 5:On your tool bar on the left hand side of your screen, choose the 'Flood Fill Tool'. Then, click anywhere inside your image.
NOTE:DO NOT FREAK OUT HERE! You will not be able to see your original image, but we will fix that in a minute! =)

Step 6:On your Layers Panel on the right hand side of your screen, there is a 'Blend Mode' drop down box. Choose one from the list. I am going to use Hie (Legacy) but you can use whichever you like best.

Step 7:In the Layers Panel, right click on the image. Then, go to Merge»Merge All (Flatten).

Step 8:Go to File»Save Copy As and save your image as a .PNG file.
