Making An Outline

In this tutorial, you will learn how to make an outline. Pretty simple..=P

Step 1:Choose an image. I am going to use this one:

You can find these images off of Neopets or Google.

Step 2:In your program, go to File » New or push Ctrl+N. Make a transparent image with a width of 200 and a height of 200. It should look like this:

Step 3:Go to Edit » Paste As Transparent Selection. After pasting the image, de-select it by right clicking anywhere on the image with the Selection Tool.

Step 4:Go to Edit » Copy and copy the transparent image. Then make a new image with a white background. (Use Step 1 as a reference.)
Now go to Edit » Paste As New Selection. DO NOT DE-SELECT YOUR IMAGE!

Step 5:A dotted line should be around your image now. Go to Selections » Modify » Expand. Expand the image by 2 pixels. It should look like this:

Now go to Edit » Copy and copy your image again.

Step 6:Make ANOTHER new image (refer to Step 1 again.) Flood the image with a color of your choice from your image. I am going to use #ff96ff.
Now go to Edit » Paste As New Selection.
Repeat Step 5. After doing so, it should look something like this:

Step 7:Go to Edit » Copy. Then make a new image with a width of 170 and a height of 170 and a white background. (Refer to Step 1 if you need help.)
Now, go to Edit » Paste As New Selection. You can de-select your image now by right clicking on it.

You're Done!!
