Applying Gaussian Blurs

Open a new image. I'll be using this one:

Now Duplicate the background layer. (Layer ť Duplicate Layer)

Go to Filter ť Blur ť Gaussian Blur.

Now, change the mode to 'Overlay'.

You're now done! Save the image as a .PNG & name it whatever you like. Try adding different blurs next time like Motion Blur or Radical Blur.
