Fading a PSD

This tutorial will teach you how to fade a PSD using Photoshop CS+.

1. First, open up any PSD and a color background. Then just drag the PSD onto the background.

2. Click on the selection tool and look at the top and change Feather to 20 px, shown below:

3. Now, click on the bottom of the PSD, by holding the mouse button, drag it to the other side of the PSD. You can notice it’s making a rectangle.

When you let go of the mouse button, don’t freak out, you can notice the rectangle turns curve, like shown below:

4. Now hit Backspace/Delete on your keyboard a few times until you like it. Then go to Select > Deselect. If there is a few things the selection tool missed to delete just click on the Delete Tool and delete the missed spots.
